Many additional digital resources are available. We are not selling them and do not claim responsibility or credit, yet give thanks for the generous treasures provided on other corresponding websites. A list of links is posted below for your convenience. We apologize and please feel welcome to let us know if you discover that any of these links are not functional.
HELPFUL ADDITIONAL ADORATION RESOURCES:
Please don’t feel overwhelmed or think that you need to read or use all of the following in order to start adoration. Comprehensive and simple Key Documents that you will need have already been linked or included in the main Coordinator & Parish Resources section of this website. These are just extra resources and ideas.
THE REAL PRESENCE EUCHARISTIC EDUCATION AND ADORATION ASSOCIATION
We collaborate with http://www.therealpresence.org
The Real Presence Eucharistic Association’s Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Manual: http://www.therealpresence.org/eucharst/manual/manual.htm#full
It includes this handbook:
We are listed on the Real Presence website as a Canadian contact for the promotion, establishment and maintenance of adoration in Canada.
Sample Sign-up Appeals:
Sign-Up weekend sermon given by visiting or parish priest/clergy: http://www.therealpresence.org/eucharst/pea/goedert.htm
The homily below in pdf format can be provided in Word format upon request:
Other samples and versions of sermons can be emailed and prepared upon request.
Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration talk – this 5 minute appeal is or can be reduced to 3 minutes if it will be given with sign-up instructions or to speed up the whole process. If it is a testimony given by a lay evangelist, it can be personalized. The regular clergy’s Sunday homily should be reduced significantly (i.e. to about 5 minutes), if a lay person will give the Adoration Invitation Sign-Up Appeal/Testimony with the Sign-Up Instructions:
Sign-Up Instructions given to congregation at Mass: Sign-Up Instructions given at Mass
Other sample sign-up instructions are available and can be provided upon request.
Instructions for Ushers/Volunteers to personally hand out copies of the Invitation and pencils to everyone and recollect them when completed during each Mass:
Below is another version of a sample talk given by a lay adoration promoter/evangelist in Ireland, Scotland and Wales where they have approval from their National Conference of Bishops. If we become aware of a local adoration team or committee in your diocese or area already, we can try to connect you with them.
This document outlines the format that goes with the above talk:
Please contact us if you would like to see a copy of the Invitation (perpetual or part-time hours) that is used with this talk, for more information or if you would like to have it in Word format. In this approach, they used pens instead of pencils attached to an Invitation printed on card stock instead of regular paper. These were distributed at the entrances before each weekend Mass and collected after Mass as people departed.
Note: A homily must be provided by a member of the clergy. It is permissible under these rare exceptional circumstances, that right after the clergy’s homily, a lay evangelist may give an adoration invitation personal testimony with the sign-up instructions. This testimony can also be given after Holy Communion or before Mass. Here is the 1996 papal liturgical directive that confirms this and has not been abrogated, including in a 2006 directive, so it is still valid:

Some sample part-time Eucharistic Adoration Sign-Up Forms:
The sign-up results have proven to be more effective using the sign-up instructions we prefer to recommend/use that have already been provided above of having the Invitations and pencils handed out and gathered at Mass, but here is another method some have used:
