DO YOU WANT OR NEED MORE HELP?
You are welcome to contact us for other practical resources for starting or increasing Adoration in your parish or diocese such as…
A parish visit, preparing a space/place for adoration, brainstorming/strategizing options, arranging or researching any desired security, organizing your Sign-Up weekend, partial-mini Sign-ups, adoration speakers, recollections, talks/conferences, formation of coordinators/adorers, help with planning and timelines, building and mentoring/coaching your team, linking up with another seasoned coordinator etc.
Many additional digital resources are available. We are not selling them and do not claim responsibility or credit for those we have not authored, yet give thanks for the generous treasures provided on other corresponding websites.
A list of links is posted below for your convenience. We apologize and please feel welcome to let us know if you discover that any of these links are not functional.

HELPFUL ADDITIONAL ADORATION RESOURCES:
Please don’t feel overwhelmed or think that you need to read or use all of the following in order to start adoration. Comprehensive and simple Key Documents that you will need have already been linked or included in the main Coordinator Resources. These are extras.
The Real Presence Association Manual:
- The Real Presence Association’s Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Manual
- The above includes this handbook
Permission has been granted to download, use and print everything in the Real Presence Manual above. In sections below we have links for some of their most pertinent document. (Note: permission was not granted for uploading onto websites – only links can be provided).
COMPREHENSIVE ADVANCE OR ONGOING EUCHARISTIC EVANGELIZATION:
These are other ideas for pre-evangelization, to educate, maintain, boost/renew interest in adoration and to improve the organization of existing chapels/programs.

Ecclesiastical/Church Documents
We are living in grave times where Eucharistic Adoration is gravely needed:
- Ecclesia Eucharistica – The Eucharist is the Heart of the Church (Pope John Paul II)
- Stay With Us Lord – Mane Nobiscum Domine by Pope John Paul II
- Vatican document on adoration for the clergy
- Christ’s Faithful Laity – Christi Fidelis Laici
- According to the attached 1996 document “Ecclesiae de Mysterio, Article 3, The Homily, paragraph 2” and confirmed by John Paul II, after the ordained clergy gives the homily it is permitted to have a lay person to give a sharing/testimony with Sign-Up Instructions during Mass right AFTER the homily. It is a special are rare occasion for a parish to start perpetual adoration. This has not been overruled since then, including what came out in 2006: Ecclesiae de Mysterio, Part II, Article 3
- Otherwise, a lay adoration appeal/sharing/testimony and Sign-Up can take place during Mass after Holy Communion but people may be more restless and some may leave Mass before final blessing.
- Mirae Caritatis Encyclical Letter on the Holy Eucharist, Pope Leo XIII, 1902
- Sacrosanctum Concilium Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, 1963
- Mysterium Fidei Encyclical Letter on the Holy Eucharist, Pope Paul VI, 1965

Sign-Up Instructions:
The sign-up results have proven to be more effective using the sign-up instructions we prefer to recommend/use that have already been provided above of having the Invitations and pencils handed out and gathered at Mass, but here are other methods some have used:
- Sign-Up Instructions if Invitations are left in each pew before each Mass: Sign-Up Instructions given at Mass Version 2

Sample of what one parish has on their website:
Sample of a parish that pays to use Adoration Pro Sign Up and Tracking System. As of 2022, they charge around $50US per month: (note – we/Eucharistic Adoration provide/offer a different, simple and free Adoration Scheduling system that we will provide for you upon request by email or snail mail, which does not include automated phonecalls for substitutes). Please let us know if you decide to go with this program:
Sample of a parish that pays to use We Adore Him System that includes an adoration chapel website. As of 2022, they offer the first few months for free and then charge about $50US per month and includes a feature to fundraise to your own adorers to cover the cost (i.e. 50 adorers could offer $12US a year, or 25 adorers could offer $25US/year. It has a feature for automated texts and calls to find substitutes. Please let us know if you decide to go with this program: (note – We/Eucharistic Adoration offer/provide a different, simple and free Adoration Scheduling system that we will provide for you upon request by email or snail mail, which does not include automated texts and call outs for substitutes):
Parish’s Annual Adoration Program Closing Policies:
Those who signed up at Mass were informed that they would be called and submitted their contact information for the purposes of organizing adoration. If at any time, an adorer requests their name and number not be shared with others for adoration, comply with their request. In this case, they can be listed in the Sign-In book as Scheduled Adorer 1, Scheduled Adorer 2 etc. If you have a publicized parish privacy policy, you could ask adorers to fill out a consent to sharing of information form. For example:
- PEA Manual Consent Forms
- Consent to Sharing Information Form– for Scheduled/Permanent Adorers
- Consent to Sharing Information Form – for Substitutes/Casual Adorers
Ecclesiastically Approved Worksheets on Location for Adoration:
- Having an Adoration Invitation Sign-up weekend schedules adorers to cover hours
- Place for adoration is normally selected before or on the Sign-Up weekend
- Location is ready before adoration starts, usually 4-6 weeks after Sign-up
- A quiet and peaceful place reduces distractions and is conducive to prayer
- Bishops benefit from the great graces perpetual adoration brings to their dioceses and by promoting it in their parishes
- Each local ordinary may have guidelines and requirements for location or renovations

“The adherence to the fire of love that Jesus brought to Earth embraces our entire existence and adoring God and a willingness to serve our neighbour. Worshipping God and being available to serve our neighbour. The first, adoring God means learning the prayer of adoration, which we often forget. That is why I invite everyone to discover the beauty of the prayer of adoration and to practice it often.” Pope Francis 18.08.19 Angelus, St Peter’s Square, Rome Angelus 20th Sunday of Ordinary Time Year C Luke 12: 49-53: http://www.popefrancishomilies.com/our-heart
